has been a pig for the last month, not to even mention peeling sails).

You can see where the "T" shaped divider between the two feeders has fractured (along the narrowest part, of course". It is an aluminium casting, and pretty ancient, so it is not entirely unsurprising.
Here is the replacement, of my own design!
(yes, I need to cut off the lower bolts flush)
It is manufactured from 316 stainless. What you see is not the forestay, just a piece of 5/16" rod to simulate the forestay. It looks like our problem may be solved
, and at a relatively cheap price
