Outhaul issue US Spars model Z360

Hello

I think the bullet block inside of my boom may have failed as the out haul line has no tension on it (outboard end). I pulled on the line and has come out of the end of the boom. Is there a way to get in there and reattach the line? If the bullet block has failed how do I removed it and put a new one in?

US Spars, Inc. | Welcome to US Spars America's Premier Mast and Boat Equipment Manufacturer

They are quite helpful.

You'll have to remove one of both ends of the boom to get at the blocks. Don't expect them to come off easily because of corrosion. Look for a couple of closely spaced pop rivets as a possible location of the eye for fastening the bitter end of the outhaul tackle and/or the block itself. Wish I could be of more help as I kick myself for not adding a part or two to the outhaul tackle everytime I have to adjust mainsail foot tension on my boom.
