Opening port gaskets

I have possibly Manship or Whitewater stainless opening ports that use a rubber gasket about 3/8 by 3/8 inch rubber gasket that fits into a channel the seals the opening port. I need to replace a few of these that are starting to drip inside. Does anyone have a source for this rubber seal?

Re: Opening port gaskets

Is the channel in the port just a half round groove or is it a shaped slot that you feed a special shaped gasket into? Or another way, is the gasket more or less round or oval or is it a complex shape?

If more or less round, you can buy various diameter round gasket material from Defender. Has a peel and stick side that sticks well to the groove but you do need to clean and wipe with a bit of solvent first.

Or, if like me, you have impossible-to-find complex-shaped gaskets, you can revive them (and other gaskets as well) by the application of a thin layer of SIL-GLYDE, sold by NAPA Automotive houses. It's worked a treat for me thus far
