Norseman Fittings????

I would like opinions on Norseman mechanical fittings. My entire boat is rigged with this brand. Practical Sailor did a review and the Norseman didn't fair to well. The issue being that the wire is always supposed to fail before the fitting, the tests indicated that this was not always the case with this brand?

I suspect that, in general, the factor of safety in standing rigging design is such that you are unlikely to get loads close to the UTS failure zone of the fitting anyway (but I am far from an expert).
