My Rigging Stolen ! Please Help !

I am outside the country and had some rigging stolen off my boat while I had the Mast in the shop. I am in the USA now looking for used blocks as the new ones are just crazy expensive. I have Lewmar stuff now but it doesn't need to be this brand. I was wondering if someone can help me with info to find some things. Numbers of sailboat salvage yards, new discontinued gear, if you see on an auction site, if you know of sites where I can look for it, etc.
What I need now are 2 fiddle blocks. The missing ones as I said were lewmar and had a 4" large sheeve and a 2"on the small end. I could probably use ones that were close to this. Also need 3 blocks with a 3" sheeve and a shackle on the end.
Thanks so much for your help.

I feel your pain

I don't know if this will help but ask the dock master where you are who does salvage around you. With the economy some people are abandoning boats at the marina. You may get lucky and find a local salvage guy that will have parts you can use. If they don't have what you need they may be able to give you phone numbers of other salvage guys not so close to you. The one salvage guy by me I get parts from isn't a real business so he's not listed in the phone book or the internet.

Sailor's Exchange in St. Augustine has a large inventory far north of Sailorman's in Fort Lauderdale. Where are you? East Coast///West Coast? Take care and joy, Aythya crew

Try Blue Pelican in Alameda, CA (510) 769-4858 bluepelicanmarine@sbcglobal.net. They ususally have a good collection of blocks on consignment. IIRC, believe they had 7 Series Schaeffer fiddle blocks when I was there early this month.

You might try looking at Garhauer Marine...... they have a great selection of blocks and other marine equipment. The most expensive fiddle block that I found was about $180/190 US.
I can attest to the quality of their products. You might be able to get new for little more than used.

Don's Marine Salvage, 5601 126th Ave N, Clearwater, FL 33760, (727) 576-8577,
(727) 572-7858 Fax. (Their web page exceeded their bandwidth and does not work tonight.) It is much bigger than Sailorman in Fort Lauderdale.

I also just found this link for Welcome to your Florida used boat connection.

I would try Garhauer as suggested by capt465. Their prices will probably be better than what they want in the used marine stuff stores. Sailorman in Ft. Lauderdale has very poor pricing. If you walk in there, take a WM catalogue with you, you'll be surprised that some of the prices for used stuff is as much as new from WM!
