Morgan S22 swing keel help needed

I need a bit of trivial knowledge.

1968 - 1969, Morgan S22 swing keel.

What’s the length of the wire rope that attaches to the ‘keel groove’ and terminates at the lifting mechanism’s ‘prop shaft’?

I’ve got a brand new, custom Foss Foam keel I had build for this little project but I can’t find any figures on this particular little wire rope piece. I’m guessing but I’m thinking it can’t be more than 20”.

I’m not really a fan of install - try - remove -adjust -reinstall.

(Wash,rinse and repeat)

Anyone? Anyone? Beuller?

Sorry for the extra post over in OffTopic. I’m trying to remove that post over there.

Generally the centerboard lifting rope, wire or otherwise, is called the lifting pendant.

It's been stored on trailer for quite awhile and a friend owns it, anyway I think 3 to four turns on crank lifted up completely. Measure from crank to approximately pin and add turns on crank drum.
Hope that helps. Currently working on Morgan Tiger Cub 28 ft second hull that Charlie built.

Hope they laid heavy glass on the new CB?

Re: Morgan S22 swing keel help needed

I posted a link to the Morgan 24 page but it apparently wasn't approved.
If you do a search for "Morgan 24 Site" and on the site Morgan Sailboat Info, then Centerboard, Then Pennant and Tube Chart your info is there on the chart.

Re: Morgan S22 swing keel help needed

Thanks much. Any idea of where I might source such an animal of that diminutive size?
