Limited purchase systems on cruising boats?
Looking for a footblock to redirect port genoa sheet to starboard winch/clutch.

Looking at Harken's site, they use the term: "are ideal for halyards or limited purchase systems on cruising boats." when referring their esp line.

What is meant by "limited purchase system"? Do I need to go the black magic line rather for this application?

Limited purchase system = inadequate mechanical advantage?

My assumption is systems that require limited grip - possibly not sheets
