Laminate sail, black sailcover....

Guys - I just acquired a slightly used laminate main, that will be flaked on my boom during the season.

Are there any concerns with a black sail cover over top? Too much heat for the laminate? (UK mylar/carbon)

You might ask UK. What temps do you expect under it? [Use a thermometer!] My guess is that it will be okay, that laminating temps are far, far higher, but get a little data first and then ask UK. They should know.

Who scorns the calm has forgotten the storm.
