Klemheist Knot?

It seems to be an interesting knot and something useful for certain things. Wouldn't a rolling hitch do as well for a snubber? Or maybe a chain hook as sold by Mantus?

A rolling hitch seems to work well for most people, but I tend to find it can occasionally slip. The Klemheist has never done so.
