In-Mast Furler

Our In mast furling is giving us alot of problems .It is hydraulicly operated but has become very hard to furl in or out and requires us to manually crank it . I found out today that it is an "Furlaway in mast furler" and that the company is no longer in business. I was hopeing that someone may have the same system and could offer advice. I have aliminated sail jam and mast rake as the problem and fear it may be that the bearings where the chain connects {see picture} have started to fail .There does not appear to be any way of removeing the bearings without taking off the mast and if i do get them out can they be repaired?
The obvious thing would be to call a rigger, but the whole of Phuket only has 2 riggers of which only one is any good . He is too busy to even talk to us .
So any advice would be very welcome.
