Hydrovane vane

I had a complete duhh! moment when we recently designed and installed a new arch on the back of our Bowman 40. I forgot to think about the wind vane on the Hydrovane. Now there is not enough room for it.

Would I be able to build a new vane that fits. It could be the same area, but the chord would need to be twice the present chord?
