Hayfield Quick Release

Ok ..I must be spelling this incorrectly

have spent an hour searching with no luck.

I know I have been to the site as I have got the picture.

who makes or sells this thing.

If you down loaded the image from the site, it should still have the address attached in it's properties.

It's a "hyfield lever" (sometimes misspelled "highfield lever")

What you have is a photo of a quick release lever made by ABI. I don't know if they are still selling them but I have two that I will probably not be using if you are interested in purchasing them. Please e-mail me and I can give you specifics as to their size, price etc.

CSJohnson (Home - C.S. Johnson) also sells a hyfield lever (1/2" pin) in their Marine catalog. Another source is Rigging Only (http://www.riggingonly.com/)--see under "inner forestay tools"

Just checked my ABI catalog from 1990. It calls the lever a "Forestay Release Lever" It comes in various sizes to match your rigging.
