Harken Winches

Hi All
I've just bought an old boat with original winches that need to be replaced sometime in the next year. I noticed that Binnacle has the Harken two speed B44st on for $874. Should I move this up my list or do these types of deals come up fairly often? Ebay and other online marine stores arent showing anything that comes close in price.
Thanks
Gary

Depending on what you use them for - e.g. the cockpit genoa-sheet winches are nice with a self tailer, if shorthanded. Etc. But sure Harken is nice, would be by next to Andersen and ahead of Lewmar.

Harken are bringing out a new upgraded winch series, you will find the current (soon to be out of date) ones at good prices as they try to clear them before the launch of the new ones. Time to bargain!!
