Re: H28 sail measurements?

G'Day KSM, and welcome to CF...

A word of warning: if you are wanting the measurements in order to buy second hand sails or such, remember that there are a lot of different boats that call themselves "H-28". For that purpose, you should really measure the specific boat that the sails must fit.

If you need the measurements for analyzing the SA to D ratio or such, then generic measurements will suffice and a site like sailboatdata.com will likely have what you need.

Cheers and good luck in your quest.

Jim

Re: H28 sail measurements?

You have to be a little careful as some of the kiwi ones had twin spreader rigs while others had single and some have different sections to others. Best bet it to measure what you have as they vary a little bit. But rough measurements are:

P 8.8m
E 3.5m
I 9.5m
J 2.9m
