Gibb Winch

I am looking to buy parts for a gibb winch. Is that possible and where would I find it?

Thanks

Hi Tom
I have 5 Gibb winches on my boat, and have had difficulty obtaining parts as I don't think they are in business anymore, I had problems with the top coming out and had an engineering company modify the tops which have been excellent for the last two years. What is the problem you have and what parts ae you after?

Re: Gibb Winch

I have a single Gibb 3 winch that I was about to post on kijiji for $30. Are you still looking for parts? I'm in Ontario Canada.

Re: Gibb Winch

Resurrecting... I have a pair of Gibb 48RA winches and one of them is missing the name plate on the top. I have scoured the boat for it and now it's time to start looking further afield.
Anyone have one kicking around for parts?

Re: Gibb Winch

Gibb winches were manufactured by Arco winches in Sydney.(Australian Yacht WinchSales p/l) They had the rubber jammers for my gibb winches and pretty much any other part available. Give them a try. Phone no +61296232448. Hope this helps you out.
