Genoa car for 32mm x 7mm track

I have an older Choey Lee Pedrick 41. All four of the jib lead cars need replacing. The problem is the track is not standard T Track, but it is a piece of stainless steal bar. It measures 32mm (1 1/4") across, but it is 7mm thick instead of the standard 5mm. The cars that are on there are Lewmar. I have not been able to find anything that will fit. Any help would be great.

Garhauer machined for me some cars to fit my track.

Yeah, I ordered a set from them before I knew the tracks were not standard size. I called them about returning them and having some made, but got no reply. Perhaps I will try them again.

Re: Genoa car for 32mm x 7mm track

You could have the track machined down to "standard" dimensions, especially as, being stainless, it should still be plenty strong. Though your best bet is probably to pick up some new (or pre-loved) track in the standard size. It's relatively inexpensive, though of course it'll mean fastening & bedding it. After pulling off the current track.

One other option is that many brands of cars for T-track come with built in plastic sliders (in the car's grooves). Which if removed would probably make them fit your current track. They won't slide quite as easily, but plenty of cars have zero inserts to begin with, so...

You need to talk with them, email is not their thing.
