Four spars?

Learning about a beautiful boat, the Amel Super Maramu 2000.

Does anyone know why this boat would have FOUR spars?
1 - one long one, for the spinnaker.
2 - a second long one, to wing & wing...
3 & 4 - these shorter ones... are these spars? What are they for? What name could I use for them, to look them up and learn more...?

Here, the 4 spars are secured. A man has climbed up and is standing on one.

It's just a system where the spin pole is attached to the outer end of the short poles which transfer the force to the mast and shrouds. Supposedly easier to handle short handed.

Aha... so, 2 spars -- plus a nifty storage system.
