Fancor vs Harken on a Catamaran

Greetings,

I bought a sailboat in Thailand without a sail (lost on a truck in Singapore headed for the cleaners prior to delivery) ... don't ask!! Fortunately we still have battens, reefing lines, Fancor track

We had considered changing our hardware and track system to Harken C. It sure would be easier (not to mention cheaper) to just replace the batten and intermediate cars with the original Fancor F-40's.

How has these worked out for others. Is it worth the expensed and hassle of shipping to replace the track? The rigger in Phuket in would prefer to unstep the mast to install the Harken track, which on the Privilege I believe would require a crane!

Thanks to all!
