Elliott 5.9 Mast

Hi, I belong to a university sailing club in South Korea. We have a Elliott 5.9, but we lost the upper half of the mast during a storm. I'm looking for information on where I can get a new or second-hand mast for our boat shipped to us in Seoul.

I have tried contacting the official Elliott 5.9 association (referred to nzrigging, but haven't been able to get a quote from them despite repeated attempts). We have also tried contacting a domestic spar maker, but we will need to get our boat there and back by truck (~$330) and no guarantee that they can do it for us.

Any help/advice whatsoever would be much appreciated. Thanks!

A local engineering firm may be able to sleeve the old mast its quite easy to do.

I would try the Elliott 5.9 association again. You could try posting in Sailing Anarchy - Sportboat forum. They are probably available out of Australia. The cheapest option might be a carbon Elliott 6 mast - the Elliott 6's are made in China.
