Dynema Loops Printable Instructions

Hi all, can anyone direct me to instructions on how to make Dynema/Spectra loops and soft shackles?

There are plenty of You-tube videos but I cannot find a printable document that I can actually read and look at while doing it!

Thanks

Thanks Alain, full of great info and quite useful for me. I cannot find a continuous closed loop though, maybe some ideas?

Thanks again

Making a continuous closed loop is the same as splicing 2 ropes end to end. You need the loop to be long enough to bury each end.

L-36 again. Not easily printable but dirt simple to make.

Interesting link, but I am confused by the author referring to Amsteel as "double braid", and also talking about "cover" and "core". The Dyneema that I am familiar with is single braid, and from the pix he posts the Amsteel looks the same.

What gives?

Re: Dynema Loops Printable Instructions

The terminology he used is not quite right. The loop is made buy burying each end all the way around the loop. The finished loop has an inner and outer section of amsteel that could be called "double braid" but its made from single braid Amsteel or other Dyneema braids.
