Designs for a stackpack bag for Lagoon 440 ..... or any general tips?

The time has come for us to replace the stackpack bag under our lazy jacks as the zip has failed beyond repair, stitching and fabric are extremely worn / aged and it lacks ends to keep birds and rain out.

We're wondering if anyone has a design for a 440 already .....or any simple extras or tips that we should add to custom made bag ?

Any suggestions appreciated.

Almost every major sailmaker has their own version of a stackpac. Each has plusses and minusses. You may acquire 3-4 quotes with specs that will give you a basis for comparing features and design.

Sailright has some good vids. Even if you buy one it is worth watching the Sailright stuff to get up to speed on stackpacks.

Also keep in mind that if you have a big square top on your cat, like I do on mine, you will need a different design than if you have more of a pinhead or even fully roached sail.

Contact Travis at Mack Sails in FL. www.macksails dot com They specialize in stack packs - having one made for my cat now. It was much less expensive than a local sail maker wanted.
