Cost of Replacing Standing Rigging on 41 Beneteau

G'day all.
I'm looking at a total overhaul of standing rigging on by Beneteau 411.
Anyone out there with similar experiences with a 40 footer - overall costs ?

DIY or paying a rigger?

DIY ~ $3000

multiply that by two or three or four if your going to pay someone to do it

I think that the $3,000 DIY cost can be far less if you are not in need of replacing the toggles and turnbuckles. If you're purpose is to replace shrouds with hairline cracks on the swage fittings or the replacement of the shrounds due to age concerns, you might not need a replacement of other hardware. The use of a pentration dye followed by a light sanding with a 400 grit paper can be usefull in evaluating your materials. Take care and joy, Aythya crew

Plan on replacing everything. Log onto the riggingonly.com website and you should find everything you need to DIY.
