Coronado 25 mast base plate

Greetings:

I am new owner of a Coronado 25 (Hull number 1480) suffering from a disastrous mast raising attempt. The mast base plate sheared in half, dropping the mast onto the cabin top from about 30 degrees elevation.

Soooo. Does anyone have a Coronado 25 mast base plate on offer? Please let me know, as I am really eager to get her going sailing.

Re: Coronado 25 mast base plate

Sorry to hear of your troubles.
So the plate on the deck is OK and the fitting on the mast broke?
Maybe these folks have something:

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, Newish.

Coronado Yachts existed (1964 - 1976), during most of the years of it's operation, as an alternate brand to Columbia Yachts. Though it did have it's own independent origins as a company called Wesco, which began producing boats sometime around 1962. When Wesco ran out of money it was acquired by Frank Butler, who later founded Catalina Yachts. (Butler later described how he stepped in to finish his own yacht that he had ordered. Wesco still exists to this day (2009) as a supplier to Catalina.
