Contender CDX sail cloth

I got a pretty attractive proposal for new radial cut sails using Contender CDX cloth. Can anyone here offer first hand experience or opinions about it?

It is very nice cloth. We use it regularly in the sails we build.

What loft? I've seen some really horrible sails made out if fancy materials. The average sailor doesn't notice the difference and would generally have been better serviced by a quality cross cut sail.

Great Circle Sails

Have you had any experience with them?

Re: Contender CDX sail cloth

I had a leftover piece of CDX that I made into a basic tent over the cockpit. The material did not last in tropical sun (Martinique and now Canarias).

Nice cloth though, probably excellent choice for a furling sail.
