Cleaning Sails

I priced pro cleaning at a few places once and it varied from about 1/4 the cost of a new sail to 1/2. Definitely worth doing yourself. A pressure washer is probably a bad idea. The thread in the stitching is what gets damaged more than the sailcloth itself, usually. Good advice given already, a long soak with no scrub and gentle detergent followed by heavy rinsing.
