Old rabbits die hard I do have to admit I can not get the sail tension I would with some other systems, but it sure is nice not to have to worry about it jamming as I approach the slip. One other nice feature is the drum is big enough the you do not need a winch to furl the sail. The first time we went out when I installed it, we were in 15kts, and I had my wife furl it in without heading up. It is now her favorite piece of gear. (She stresses watching me change headsails in the slop and watching me and the bow disappear under waves)

The latest version of the Practical Boat Owner magazine (Dec 2006) has an article on the main roller reefing systems which is well worth study.
