Cal29 steering change

I have a cal29 that I want to convert from tiller to wheel. At the same time, I want to move the main traveler from in front of the companion way to either the top of the cabin or the end of the boom. Does any one have any experience with moving the traveler and also the possibility of buying a used pedestal and steering system? Thanks, Ken

Just my SWAG; but you're probably looking at tossing between 3 to 5 K $s. at that combined project .
That's IF you have all the attach points sussed out for strength andsuch. AND finding suitable parts that match intended use.

Might ya just find some luv for the tiller?

I know I did !

Really a dumb idea, but if you persist, have the wheel and gear from my boat for sale. Got rid of the stupid wheel and it's taking up space. $400 for Edson pedestal, 33" wheel, 1 1/2" quadrant and various sheaves.
