one tiny screw in the plate side and one coter pin in the other, if is stuck, most probably at the sheave ,, this alu sheaves sometimes get corroded in the axle , even one time i cut a alu sheave with a dreamel,, a pain in the ass...

I just have no confidence in inspecting wire rigging. Having inspected my own in an Aerospace certified facility, the conclusion of the QA dept was "no confidence". Yeah you can see any swage cracking in the fitting, but the wire is a big unknown... I'm not a big proponant of rod rigging... just saying it's more obvious to inspect (as the pic above shows)

Most wires break 1 or 2 strands before total failure, i never see a complete wire section break in half... But this days with all the crap in the market who know...
A good quality 316 ss can outlast the swages and fittings...
