Bird chaser for sailboat radar

I just used this neat trick to keep seagulls off the top of a radar antenna. Normally, for powerboats I just attach a Bird-B-Gone strip, but for spinnakers, etc., on sailboats, I have been looking for a better alternative. This appears to be it. Take a one-square piece of DryDecks (from West Marine, et al), cut it to whatever shape you need, and attach some BLACK ty-raps, 8". Black makes them more UV resistant, and more visible to the sky rats. I used 3M 4000UV sealant to attach the unit.
