Balls?

Possibly not such a daft question: does anyone know where to get 3/8" to 3/4" (10mm-20mm or so) Torlon balls in decently small quantities? I have someone looking for 100-odd for a special wing-mast bearing project, but I can't be persuaded to buy them for him in the 10000 or so batches usual vendors offer! Anyone want 9900 3/8 Torlon balls?

McMaster Carr

I am afraid that I will have to leave all of the many jokes that come to mind for others. Not sufficiently challenging

McMaster-Carr sells torlon (aka polyamide-imide) balls in small lots (bags of 50 for the small ones, 15 for the larger sizes). They have sizes from 1/8 to 1/2 inch. I don't know the details for having them shipped to Cape Town.

McMaster-Carr

Type "torlon balls" into their search engine.

Good Luck!

Mike
