Anyone Used Kelly-Hanson Sails ?

Hi all,

I'm looking to acquire a decent storm jib and trysail for my 45ft Hunter before we go cruising next season.

Money is tight and I was intending to have a go at a Sailrite kit (I have one of their excellent sewing machines).

However, I just came across Kelly- Hanson in CA on Ebay and their prices look pretty good. Could save me a lot of hassle.

Anyone had any experieinces good / bad ?

Given that you are in E. Greenwich I would try to haggle with one of the local guys. Times are tight and I bet they could use the work and come close in price.

Well my boat is parked right next to Doyle's and I have used them for repairs on my main. They were actually suprisingly reasonable on price given their rather costly reputation. Great quality work and nice people too. So you are right, might be worth a try.

Not sure if you had others in mind though ?
