Anchor Mount...

Kinda puzzled here........
Instead of keeping my spair Fortress FX55 in its bag, I'd like to mount it on the deck rail at the rear of the boat.. It would be easier to pull it from a mount to deploy instead of having to build it every time I decided to use it.. the problem is that it has the "Mud Plate" on the rear and the plate is about 5 inches wide on the 55.... Any ideas?????????

I used a PVC pipe "rocket launcher" for my smaller FX23.

Using the PVC... so you inverted the anchor and dropped the shank down the tube.. Am I correct..........
If so, thats what I needed.....Thanks

Yes, dropped the shank down the tube, w/ flukes up, and chain doubled back & exiting top of pipe, & bungee'd to outside of pipe, back to deck.

Then there's the standard "Danforth" rail Clips, which work well, and the anchornanny.com/ which I have NOT used..
