Re: Adding 2 Reefs to Main ? And Mold on Storm Jib ?

mildew wont harm dacron sails, give it a gentle pressure wash.

the hanks wd40 and get them moving with a pair of pliers or vice grips, but try not to bend them.

adding reef points, about $150 per set,so $200-300 for two sets by a proffesional loft.

"diy" ive used another sail and cut out the reef triangles and hand sewn them in place, then gone over with the machine to reinforce, not that pretty but worked for 25000 miles.......
