1980 Columbia Coronado 24_ Mast Info Needed

I purchased this boat and am planning to have it moved by trailer. The mast is aluminum, however it doesnt have a mast step hinge. It appears it just slide down into the top of the deck. Is there something i am missing? I would like to take it down for transport but not sure how it comes down. any help?

Thanks much

WELCOME Aboard !!!

I believe most (if not all) earlier Columbia's, in that size range, had deck stepped masts.

You might try the folks at the Columbia Owners’ Association:
