whos bought a watermaker? how much?

Who has bought a watermaker lately? i want to buy one and with the way our dollar is against the USA dollar at the moment i thought it might be worth importing one. I am only after something small. here i can get one that does 30L/hour for just under $5000 but i was wondering if they were cheaper elsewhere. i am just after a no frills not complicated and reliable.
Oh and i have no wish to build my own.

Spectra watermakers which are one of the best are right here in San Rafael, California.

I bought an SK watermaker about 3 weeks ago. It's a bit larger than what you're looking at 24-27 gal/hr. but I got it as a boat show special for $6,800.......Ed
