Water pressure issue

- full tanks
- pump runs continuously without hitting cutoff pressure
- about half flow out of the faucet
- doesn't appear to be any accumulation in the bilge

Check for obstructions in the tank/intake hose, right?

Re: Water pressure issue

I would be looking for air leaks getting in also. The fitting to the tank etc. No tight bends in the lines where the hose can kink and cut itself off?

Don't know... I'm going to get off my lazy ass and check today or tomorrow, just thought I'd see if there was any low hanging fruit I hadn't considered. Seems there is.

Thanks....

Broken diaphragm, junk/growth obstructing the diaphragm. Or what they ^^ said.

Oops, I meant to post this in another thread. Don't know what kind of pump you have.

Re: Water pressure issue

do you think yours could be similar to this:
http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...re-145315.html
i just rebuilt mine, and all's well now. in any case you can isolate the pump from the rest of the circuit (plumb the in hose into a jug, and the out hose to a closed valve - i doubt you can hold 40 or even 20 psi with your thumb, although who knows) to localize the problem.
for what it's worth, but hope this helps...
