Trionic Premium Holding Tanks

Hello Gang,
I'm working on a totally new system and recently (like 10 minutes ago) came across Trionic holding tanks on a Wetsail blog. Naturally I searched here on the forum and there isn't any talk of this product.
Anyone have any experience?

Super Premium Holding Tanks

Thanks,
endoftheroad

No experience but very very nice. Do you think the vacuum relief valve might stink? Have you seen that before an a holding tank?

Made of "virgin" polyethylene. Um... Yeah. So where can I find the slutty polyethylene?

No, but I'm willing to bet it's the same design as a vented loop that would be installed on your head's intake and discharge hoses if your head is installed below the waterline. There is no stink about vented loops (anti-siphoning).

Can anyone else answer Ocean Girl's question?

Some of the Dometic holding tanks have a pressure relief valve

Available in capacities of 42, 60, 87, 110, and 136 liters (11, 16, 23, 29, and 36 gallons), SeaLand DHT-L Series holding tanks are pre-plumbed with inlet and discharge fittings, a vent fitting, inspection port and pressure relief valve.

No it isn't...not even close. SeaLand in its infinite wisdom has decided that holding tanks can be totally anaerobic, so they've designed a system that doesn't have any vent, just a "pressure relief valve" that's supposed only allow air INTO a tank during pumpout. I cannot imagine a worse idea!

Re: Trionic Premium Holding Tanks

Trionic builds a decent tank...better than most. However, all their tanks have fittings installed in locations that Trionic considers to be "standard," whic seriously limits your plumbing options. I know the pres/guy who founded the company...he's good guy. He just learned too many bad ideas from his previous employer (Kracor).

peghall,
can you clarify for me?
regarding the trionic premium tanks; the fitting thats installed to help prevent a possible tank implode.
are you saying that you dont approve of such fitting?
your comment about sealand vents have me confused about the type of vent we are talking about. sorry but its easy for me to get confused.
thanks
