stove replacement Seaward Princess vs.Force 10

Am curious if anyone has any preferences for either of these two stoves. They seem to be the two best options to replace the original Force 10 stove on our Passport 40. We are preparing for some offshore excursions and want to be sure we make the best choice. Thanks!

Re: stove replacement Seaward Princess vs.Force 10

After working on, cooking on, and cleaning many Force 10 stoves, I decided to install a Seaward 4 burner in our schooner 6 years ago. I think they are built just a little better. After 5-1/2 yrs. full time cruising we have no regrets. The Seaward gimbals a little higher and as such you can put larger pots on the stove without worrying about it tipping over as the Force 10 does. The only chincy thing about the Seaward is my admiral has broken 8 knobs. I have broken none. Seaward is only 10 miles from our house and are good about replacement parts. We have never used the broiler but the Force 10's seem to work nice for small things. We got our Seaward thru a local wholesaler for the same $1200 as the Force 10.

Cheers, Greg

I have also been comparing stoves. Tasco is the only one that states it has a fully insulated oven. But I like the enameled interior over stainless.
