G'day, mate. A specialized electrical relay isntalled in the a/c circuit that can be activiated remotely will do the trick. A good electrical contractor in your area should be able to get you set up. I'm always a little nervous having these kind of systems running when I'm not on the boat. A/C units and fridge/freezers can have cooling pumps that can quickly flood the boat, should say, a hose come off. All the best. Cheers.

Ask your smart phone. If it doesn't know, maybe it's not as smart as you'd hoped.

There are several "smart home" options available that have gotten relatively inexpensive. You will need to wire into your on/off switch for your A/C.

I'd thought about doing this, but our marina wi/fi drops after inactivity.

Here's a device that's not quite ready yet:

The best is to ise a GSM connection activated via GPRS or 3G, there are several mains switching devices on the market

If you have an internet connection on board there are a few of these products around that allow for remote access.http://www.alpinehomeair.com/viewpro...FYp_5QoddCXxtQ
