I just got back from work, thanks for the many replies and some good leads, I'll be checking these out and I 'll post what we decide.

Snore, I read the Sail article, thanks. I had already planned a few coats of West beforehand, but had not considered a resin-rich ratio. I do think I'll have to wait until it warms up.

Google, I had not thought of that...

Resurrecting an old thread (and I would be curious to hear what you did, witzgall!) to say that I've just come across this epoxy that claims to be certified for potable water tanks down to 50gal in size.
