store! Instead, go to a specialty fastener shop, for they will have a far better selection of thread sizes, materials and head
And some sort of anti seize will make it easy the next time you need to do this job.
Finally, FWIW I once broke off one of the screws in a Johnson pump. Being in a remote
area, had no access to a drill press, and as expected, stuffed up drilling out the stub. But, there was adequate meat in the pump wall to then tap for the next larger size (an American 6-32 IIRC). Worked for years...
