Saltwater Tap / Faucet - What Fittings ?

I'm fitting out my galley from scratch and need a salt-water tap (faucet for our friends over the big pond). I cannot seem to find a tap that's specifically designed for the job.

I've found a footpump, no problem (Whale MK3 Galley Gusher)
Can anyone recommend makes/models of taps, hoses, and other fittings that are suitable for the job?

Suggest that you look at this site, Classic Marine . I have their brass faucets in use for salt water and am very pleased with them, no problems whatsoever. Thoroughly recommend them!

Our salt water system is the whale pump (the MK3 is excellent), a chrome fynspray spout (Fynspray WS-66C), reinforced PVC tubing (best if its opaque and not clear as that will minimize things growing inside the hose).

Thanks for the recommendations, Evans. I've got the foot pump but the PO installed a cheap (now green and falling apart) spout.

We use a Whale below deck foot pump with a simple whale spigot at the sink. If you have no through hull for the saltwater, you'll have to add one. Any marine pump should work just fine, in any case.

If you are going pressure water, don't get a faucet that is made from pot metal. Pot metal corrodes very quickly in a salt air environment. The guts of any faucet should be fine, however.

No pressurised water systems for us - just a good mechanical foot pump.
the saltwater through hull is just one of a list of holes to make :-D
