Refill waeco cu-55 unit

Hello,

I have a waeco coolmatic cu55 and I'm about to move it to another place in the boat. I had to release the cool plate and the gas was flown. I do have a bottle r134a from my car company. The related hose is meant for a car airco unit and therefore the other end does not fit onto the cu55 unit. Can I change one end of the filling hose with a nipple that fits onto the cu55 unit? What do I need in that case?
