Raritan ii supply struggle

Had a Backflow issue with my raritan ii and fixed the issue by simply replacing the joker valve. Ever since then, I have been unable to fill the bowl with water. The water cycles just fine, but not enough is being drawn in the supply line to allow for more than an couple of inches of standing water in the bowl.

Any thoughts on where to start troubleshooting?

Do you have a vented loop on the intake?

No..... However the through hull is shared by my shower frail line via a "t" and this has a vented loop. However, when I remove this from the equation, my problem remains.

I don't think you have a problem. Our phII has been like that since new.

^^^^^ thanks for the input. I suppose my failing joker valve allowed for more water to remain in bowl.

We have a Raritan Cricket, compact head, for which we need a repair kit, which is no longer in production by Raritan. Hoping to find one on a shelf someplace which is no longer needed.

You'd cringe at the price if you could still get a repair kit,'cuz it's basically the whole pump assembly. Best solution: replace everything but the bowl, seat and lid with a PHC (compact version of the PH II that uses the same pump, but on a compact base and with a shorter handle) lower base assembly. Part # is PHCLBA. HopCar is a dealer who posts here...get a quote from him.
