Raritan 6 Gallon Hot Water Heater

My new to me boat has a raritan water heater,I,removed it to replace lines .The Anode was gone eaten away even the stainless rod.How long should this heater last,No leaks were appearant.I,beleive it's about 9 years old.

Contact Mac or Dale at Raritan in Ft. Lauderdale. Nice guys and will answer all your questions. The glass lined tanks in Raritan water heaters last a very long time.

You can get a replacement anode for the water heater at some big box stores and better hardware stores too. That protects the steel tank lining that's exposed via micro cracks when the molten glass lining cools (during manufacturing).

A glass lined tank can last 20 years or more BTW.. Longer if the anode is replaced every so often..
