Kerosene is obscenely expensive here, too (Northeast US.) I do buy it for the heater, because it allegedly burns cleaner. I use Kero for short runs during the off-season, but I'll use diesel if running it a lot, then kero again before lay-up.

Not here. Kerosene is $AU4+ a litre..$US 2.90.
where do you hear that me to is cheaper ? I just got my planar ( yet to be installed ) and the only reason I can see for running me to occasionally is to clean the unit out some .
Keep is demonstrating cheaper than diesel ( at least where I live near Seattle)

I hate auto correct.

The only reason for running kero is to occasionally clean the unit.
Kero is definitely not cheaper than diesel.
