Opinion Needed

I am in the process of converting from engine driven refridge to DC powered system.
So my question is, do you think there is any value in the existing fridge box? It would be easier to remove it in pieces, but if there is any value I would remove it in one piece.
I would be able to offer the entire system, compressor, shore assist, (AC power), and box and plates. Or everything excluding the box!

Not sure why you need or want to remove the box?

When I got rid of my compressor driven refrigeration, I simply installed new eutectic plates in the old box. I also increased the insulation of the old box by pouring additional foam.

As Dave implies, re-using or replacing the refer compartment (box) will depend upon the quality of the existing box. If it's well insulated, air-tight, and solidly constructed; there may be little advantage in rebuilding it.
