The red oily liquid is
antifreeze. Seafrost uses it as the eutectic in the cold plates. As they age, the nylon fittings around the copper refrigerant lines can loosen, allowing the eutectic to leak out. Carefully tighten the fittings and the leak should stop. You will then need to refill the cold plate with a mixture of
water and antifreeze. There is a fill
plug in the top of the plate, but if you do not have access to the fill
plug, you can drill and tap a hole in the corner of the plate as a new fill spot. I no longer have the specs, but contact Cleve at Seafrost and he will gladly walk you through the process.
