LectraSan MC Electrode Pack Replacement

Has anyone out there ever replaced their electrode pack on their Lectrasan unit? Any tips to share?

I assume my plate pack is done with as I get the red light slow blink code even after having performed the muriatic acid treatment...

Should I try a couple more treatments?

If I attempt the electrode pack replacement, do I need anything else than the pack itself (i.e perhaps a cover gasket replacement) or other parts not obvious to me?

I am in the Saint Petersburg area at this point (living aboard) any parts vendors you know of in the area?

There is a test point on the outside. Have you put a meter on it to test during a treatment cycle?

Have you checked to be sure you have large enough wires running? Mine was a PO install and they used #8SAE which was hideously undersized. I had to rewire with #2AWG (and I considered going bigger).

You may wish to call Raritan and ask some questions. The tech support there is pretty good.

We have had a unit for some years and swear by it.
One thing we have found is that it pays to leave the acid in the unit overnight rather than the "at least 45 minutes' stated in the owners manual.
Also we have found the cover gasket is durable and has lasted several electrode changes.
