Leaking Stainless Tanks - Replace with Polyethylene

Avast-
After 22 years the two 80 gal. Stainless potable water...have ceased service-weld fatigue-It appears the best compromise--is polyethylene--
Any Help--concerning the Good, Bad, the un-economical---would like to plan for another 10 years---
Quality check on California based Ronco--fitting and shipping of the polyethylene tanks through Plastic-Mart, also Calif.--fittings-- are spin welded--
Better approaches/materials--directions... gets a gold star--in the ship's Log.
